Darlington, SC 29540 DC QC Associate \nSUMMARY: Performs duties as assigned by the QC Supervisor involving the counting, quality control inspection, receiving, and moving of merchandise through the building by performing the following duties:\n \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n \n\nEnsure that the QC process is completed for all goods within a shipment and all shipments that come in each day. This includes pulling samples, making sure counts are right, processing worksheets for receiving, handling problem orders, identifying opportunities to improve/speed up the process like cross docking, and moving goods to shipping.\nCommunicate with all areas of the company regarding any issues. This includes working with buyers/allocators on substitution issues and RTV items; the accounting department on chargebacks and RTV's; and management and subordinates on day-to-day problems/opportunities that may occur.\nUse the AS400 computer system for trouble shooting of problem PO's, receipts, and miscellaneous merchandise issues.\nHelp supervise material handlers in your area to make sure job gets done.\nMaintain control of all pertinent receiving worksheets and key recs\nPull a sample of each style from each purchase order, more if necessary\nInspect correct ratio for quality control purposes and ticket accuracy\nProvide stamp of approval, specify MDL, and accurate receipt quantity on worksheet or in system\n\n \nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily.
