Marketing Associate 0983 Citi Trends NY Office, 1385 Broadway, Suite 809 New York, NY 10018 Marketing Coordinator \nJOB TITLE: MARKETING ASSOCIATE\nDEPT.: 983\nREPORTS TO: MARKETING MANAGER\nWAGE SCALE: \n \n \nSUMMARY: Responsible for the creation of all creative visuals within the marketing department to assist the Marketing Manager. Work with manager to maintain a unified brand voice for in-store and digital promotion. Understanding the full marketing mix and helping the Marketing Manager plan and implement our marketing and advertising activities.\n \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nAssist in creation and execution of:\n\nAll design for in store promotion following signage, store events, or grand openings\nWorks directly with printer and operations to oversee production and timing of promotional materials to store\nWorks directly with Marketing Manager on managing our social media agency. An understanding of social media platforms and working closely with our social agency on content approval, imagery, social shoots and influencer marketing\n\nSocial media visuals and photo editing\n\nAssist with quarterly lifestyle photo shoots\nWebsite design, content and management\nE-blast creation and tracking\n\n\nAll other branded advertisements and promotions needed for outside vendors\nMaintain internally used branded items like business cards, letterhead, presentation slides etc.\nProvide general support to the Marketing team (including scheduling, organizing, data entry, analytics, etc.)\n\n \nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nA strong interest branding and design maintenance\nWorking knowledge of HTML / CSS\nA strong understanding of consistent layout and design / brand standards\nStrong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator\nA working knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple design projects a day\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications and/or Graphic Design with 1-3 years of experience, and an interest in Marketing, fashion experience preferred\nLANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand documents such as general correspondence, department reports and office procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and fellow associates.
